Outside of work, what is an interest/hobby you have?

On the weekends I like to go to national parks to camp, hike, and search for edible fungi and plants. During the week I like to hang out with my cats and go in-door rock climbing/bouldering.

What is one of the things you do supporting our participants that gives you the most satisfaction?

I like to see the participants happy when I’m helping and supporting them to see and do the things they enjoy.

What is something that isn’t on your resume?

One of my cats has no hair!

What initially drew you to the career path of support worker?

I have a few friends that were doing support work and they suggested it to me as I have always loved helping people. I was a fitter and turner for 9 years and I needed a change. Support work feels a lot more natural.
