Outside of work, what is an interest/hobby you have?

Outside of work I like to go bowling and bushwalking. I also enjoy spending time by the beach. I’ve also started teaching myself how to play the flute.

What is one of the things you do supporting our participants that gives you the most satisfaction?

I like to see them reaching their goals and being there to support them and keep them company during that process. Getting them out into the community, also gives me a lot of satisfaction.

What is something that isn’t on your resume?

I make a mean curry……but I can’t eat it.

What initially drew you to the career path of support worker?

I wanted to be a nurse as I love caring for people. Being a support worker allows me to have that but also allows me to meet people with different needs outside of a hospital setting.
