Outside of work, what is an interest/hobby you have?

My absolute favourite thing to do in my spare time is to go to the beach. I love long walks along the beach and watching the sun go down

What is one of the things you do supporting our participants that gives you the most satisfaction?

I love building those connections and professional relationships. I think it is important to understand your participants and have that rapport in order to build the foundation in helping them become more independent and enhance their day-to-day life.

What is something that isn’t on your resume?

We have a bit of a family ritual on a Friday night where we play cards (mostly five crowns). It can get a little competitive and very noisy! The winner takes away a small prize.

What initially drew you to the career path of support worker?

I think being a support worker has to be one of the most rewarding jobs. You get to make a positive difference in people’s lives by making them feel independent, more confident and part of their community.
