Outside of work, what is an interest/hobby you have?

Outside of work I am a mum to two beautiful girls 10 & 7. They keep me very busy. You’ll find me and my family at the gym most days of the week. Cooking
together is also a big part of our day, trying new foods from different cultures. You’ll also find us searching and trying different candies from around the world.

What is one of the things you do supporting our participants that gives you the most satisfaction?

A big thing for me is seeing participants genuinely happy. When I’m able to do this by helping them achieve goals, big and small, this brings me happiness.

What is something that isn’t on your resume?

Something about me you may not know is I’m an avid crafter. I am always making party decorations, invitations and cake toppers for friends and family.

What initially drew you to the career path of support worker?

Friends of mine were in the industry and encouraged me. From my first shift as a support worker, I have never looked back. Giving people that little hand to
achieve things for themselves is an amazing feeling.
